L'ES se rétracte au contact de son oblique ascendante, avec l'Europe :

Greek Talks

"European officials and the nation’s private bondholders agreed in October to implement a 50 percent cut in the face value of Greek debt by voluntarily exchanging outstanding bonds for new securities, with a goal of reducing Greece’s borrowings to 120 percent of gross domestic product by 2020. An accord with bondholders is key to a second financing package for the cash- strapped country, which faces a 14.5 billion-euro ($18.8 billion) bond payment on March 20."

"Banks have until the end of today to tell national regulators how they plan to meet capital targets drawn up by the European Banking Authority. The proposals will be discussed at meetings in London on Feb. 8-9."

La semaine touche à son terme, avec une première salve de résultats trimestriels, dont ceux du secteur bancaire, des grandes technos, et de GE. Google va peser sur le NQ, aujourd'hui.

Le marché va prendre le temps d'intégrer plus en profondeur ces informations. Nous n'avons eu, jusqu'à présent, que des réactions à chaud. Souvenons-nous de la brève descente de l'ES après JPM, entre autres...

Le jobless claims est à retenir comme le point positif de cette semaine, pour l'emploi de janvier. L'activité industrielle reste sur un mode de croissance modérée.

L'Existing home sales (décembre) est le dernier chiffre clé, attendu à 16h. Le consensus attend une progression.

Mon biais est neutre sur l'ES, sauf si l'indice tombe sur les 1304.5 - 1303.5, avant l'immo.

Aux phases directionnelles, nourries par le news flow, succèdent des phases de trading range. Le trading range apparait sur un graphe en Market Profile sous la forme d'un POC.

Le marché évolue dans son trading range. Il digère les news passées : Eco, earnings,...,etc.

Le trading range se poursuit, alors qu'un POC grossit.

L'amplitude de ce range équivaut au cinquième du range moyen quotidien de l'ES Globex : Soit une amplitude du même ordre de grandeur que la marge d'erreur d'une entrée en trade directionnel : Le stop loss initial.
