j'ai reçu ce mail. pourtant, je pensais avoir rempli le document correctement. suis je le seul ?

Dear IB Customer:

It has come to our attention that you still have not completed a revised W-8 form for the US IRS. Not completing this form by May 15th will subject you to withholdings on dividends at 30% instead of the lower treaty rate of your country. In addition, if we do not have an old W-8 on file that was completed within the last three years, you will also be subject to withholdings on interest paid at 30% and on Net Trade Proceeds at 28%.

To complete a revised W-8 form, visit Account Management/Account Administration/W-8. For more information on W-8 forms, click here. Please note, for those partnerships that are classified as a corporation for US tax purposes, you now have the opportunity to complete a single W-8 instead of a W-8IMY and W-8BEN for each partner.

We understand the US tax form requirements can be confusing, and that the financial consequences for not properly registering your tax status via these forms can be significant. Therefore, we would like to acknowledge receipt of the W-8 form for your account UXXXXXX and confirm that nothing further is required at this time.

The US IRS requires the W-8 form to be reviewed every three years and so we will be reminding you to review and submit an updated form in a few years. Those customers who have obtained a US Tax Payer ID, and have provided this number on the W-8 form, will not be required to re-submit a new W-8.

Bonjour à tous

J'i recu égallement se matin le mail de IB. Il semblerait que se soit seullement une mise à jour de leur formullaire car l'EU leur demande de le faire tout les 3 ans donc il nous demande de reconfirmé notre status. Tu n'a donc qu'a vérifier et corrigé si necessaire. Pour imprimé tu clic sur "print" en haut à droit aprés signature et avant de faire suivant.

Bonjour,

Reçu même courriel à 2 reprises.

J'ai appelé IB, ils m'ont dit de ne pas en tenir compte car mon compte est ouvert depuis moins de 3 ans.
Il semble qu'il soit nécéssaire de le mettre à jour ce fichier tous les 3 ans.

Mon formulaire était déjà rempli, je n'ai donc rien changé.
Vous pouvez les appeler, c'est gratuit.
Merci de laisser un message s'ils vous donnent une information différente.

Et il ne faut pas cocher la section III (11) ? Vu seulement maitenant leur email ont prolongé jusqu au 1er juin l envoi du doc
